Our Music Program
Calvary Chapel Academy’s music program is dedicated to nurturing a love for music in young hearts. Through a variety of musical experiences, we aim to develop students' musical skills, creativity, and appreciation for the arts. By participating in our music programs, students will develop a lifelong love of music and a deeper understanding of their faith.

Elementary Music
Students will learn music fundamentals such as singing, rhythm,
pitch, and tempo. They will be introduced to a variety of instruments,
such as the recorder, keyboard, and percussion instruments.
Students will learn basic music theory, including note reading and
music notation and will have opportunities to perform in class, in
assemblies, and in special events.

Middle School and High School
Chorus: Our chorus program offers opportunities for students to sing in a variety of musical styles, including classical, contemporary, and gospel. As students advance through high school, they will be challenged musically and perform a more complex repertoire.
Band: Our band program offers beginning band, intermediate band, and instrumental ensemble, where students work to build musicianship and performance skills through the study of note reading, music terminology, and musical performance on selected band instruments.
Worship Band: Our worship bands in middle school and high school provide opportunities for students to lead worship during chapel and various annual school programs by performing contemporary Christian music.
