GUIDANCE
CALVARY CHAPEL ACADEMY OFFERS RELIABLE COLLEGE AND CAREER GUIDANCE FOR SECONDARY STUDENTS.
We believe that each student has been given a unique, God-given purpose and we strive to give each of our students the guidance they need to succeed and reach that purpose. Guidance counseling at Calvary Chapel Academy is two-fold: academic and spiritual. We endeavor to ensure that our students thrive academically, while also building them up to be followers of Christ ready to be kingdom changers.
After admission to CCA, 9th-12th grade students will meet with our Guidance Counselor, Mrs. Grimes, to develop a schedule that will best fit their academic needs. Mrs. Grimes will meet with and help each student, on an individual basis, to ensure they are meeting and achieving specific college, vocational, or career training requirements.
College Cafe
Throughout the year, college representatives from across the state and country will come on campus and meet with our Juniors and Seniors. During this time, CCA students will be given the opportunity to meet one on one with these reps to learn more about the idea of college, the requirements, student life, and more.
College cafes take place during high school lunch and are free for students.

Community Service
Each year, high school students are encouraged to complete community service, with the goal of completing 120 hours at graduation. This can be done through various means of volunteering through church ministries, summer camps, sports camps, tutoring, teacher's aides, and so much more! We strive to prepare our students for a life of service, as they seek to love one another well.
