Good Friday is the solemn Christian day commemorating Jesus Christ's crucifixion and death at Calvary, observed the Friday before Easter as part of Holy Week, it's a day for fasting, reflection, and special services to remember Jesus' sacrifice for humanity's sins, emphasizing profound love and redemption, even though it's a day of sorrow, with "Good" meaning "holy" in old English. 

This time was given an additional day off to continue the celebration of Jesus Christ's resurrection from the dead, occurring three days after his crucifixion on Good Friday;  it symbolizes new life and hope. 

Students will return on Tuesday, 04/07/2026. 

A reminder that our upcoming Chick-fil-A Day is scheduled for Monday, April 13.  All orders must be submitted by 9:00 AM on Monday, April 6th.  Orders may be submitted at any time before the deadline. If the deadline is missed, lunch cannot be ordered for that Chick-fil-A day. In additiion, no cancellations apply to Chick-fil-A day.

SWAG days will take place on Thursdays.  On SWAG days, preK - 12th graders may dress in  N.U.T. day apparel.  For each Thursday a student wishes to dress in N.U.T. day apparel, he/she will pay $5.00 in case to receive a single use wristband.  Wristbands will be dated and must be worn on the date of purchase.  Wristbands may be purchased at tables set up in front of the school on SWAG Thursday mornings. 

Please see N.U.T. day dress guidelines in the handbook.
If a student dresses inappropriately (not following the guidelines), the parent will be called to bring the proper clothing.

Prepare to enjoy an evening of inspiration, beauty, and creativity as we celebrate the God-given gifts of our CCA students.  Join us for highlights in dance, band, chorus, and worship band in the CCM Sanctuary, as well as a stunning display of 2-D and 3-D visual art and digital imaging in the Commons.

Come rejoice with us as we honor the Lord through the talents and dedication of our students.  More details will be shared as the event approaches.

We will celebrate our Reading Program Awards Ceremony and Book Character Dress-Up Day as students mark the successful completion of our Spring Reading Program. Students are encouraged to come to school dressed as their favorite book character. During the ceremony, students will receive their completion prizes, be recognized for their hard work and dedication, and participate in additional prize drawings.
 
Students are receiving awards from the 8 weeks of reading.
Parents and families are welcome to attend.

You're invited to the Tri--M Music Honor Society Induction Ceremony - a special evening celebrating our student musicians talent, dedication, and leadership.  Join us as we welcome new members into this prestigious honor society with inspiring music and meaningful recognition of their achievements.

Benefits: Those service opportunities Tri-M provides students also teach leadership skills, from decision-making and planning to holding positions in the honor society, to influencing younger students to get involved and become leaders themselves, as well as seeking out opportunities for learning and growth.

We are pleased to announce the High School Academic Awards ceremony, where students in grades 9 through 12 will be honored for their academic excellence, character, and leadership. The event will take place in the cafeteria, where students will receive their awards and trophies.  

Students receiving awards will be notified prior to the ceremony. We invite all family, friends, and faculty to join us in celebrating these outstanding accomplishments.
